What people are saying

  • An American in Rome (2016) says “the incredibly central eatery has Roman classics like carciofi alla giudia on the menu… with an extra flourish” of ricotta filling. She likes their version of Carbonara with extra crispy guanciale and advises you to book in advance.

  1. Marta says:

I love Renato e Luisa. We’ve been there 4 or 5 times and have never been disappointed. Everything is wonderful. The chef is very generous and has always brought treats to our table. I don’t get to Rome more often than once a year and can’t wait to dine there again. It is also comfortable and moderate in price. If this restaurant were in New York, your check would be at least doubled.
