What people are saying
- I Cento (2018) includes them among their favorite 50 “Pop” or informal addresses in Rome.
- An American in Rome (2016) says Open Baladin is “incredibly central, a huge selection of craft beers and beautifully designed” but warns about weekend lines stretching out the door. With the exception of their homemade potato chips (fatate), she finds much of the food under-seasoned, but comes here for the 44 beers on tap, “ranging from stouts and porters to blanches, saisons and the occasional barley wine.”
- Katie Parla (2010) calls Open Baladin “undeniably an excellent place to drink Italian microbrews” and has a recommendation for your bar snack – a side of potato chips with powdered licorice. “This was maybe one of the best things I have ever eaten. The chips were crispy, perfectly seasoned and surprisingly light.”
